Surveys:
We normally charge a fee of £50.00 including VAT for a survey. During the survey we will provide you with valuable advice on the state of repair of your conservatory, with suggestions if necessary as to how it may be improved or work that may be required. We will then provide you with a full written quotation as necessary.

Wall Glazing:
Wall units are all purpose made to match in with existing unit specifications or we can offer either Clear, Toughened or Pilkington K Toughened double glazed units. The glass units all meet with BS 6206 and the new 'L' Regulations as necessary. Pilkington K units can also be Argon filled to improve insulation qualities still further.

Roof Glazing:
Roof units are all purpose made to match in with existing unit specifications or we can offer a full range of glass specifications including Clear, Pilkington K and/or Pilkington Optifloat Tinted Toughened double glazed units. The glass units all meet with BS 6206 and the new 'L' Regulations as necessary.

Timber:
Selected hardwoods including Utile, obtained from sustainable sources which meet with BS 1186.

Roof Ventilation:
All our roof ventilators are bespoke and manually operated by means of a mahogany and brass winding pole. They can also be automatically or electrically operated as required.

Roof Caps:
The roof glass is held under powder coated aluminium rafter caps which have neoprene seals and a concealed screw design to prevent leaking. The caps provide a maintenance-free roof construction.

Leadwork:
Where the conservatory abuts the house, we provide all new lead flashings, valleys and box gutters where necessary. Code 4 lead is used for most flashings whilst Code 5 lead is used for valleys and box gutters.

Door Furniture:
Traditional polished brassware will be fitted to the doors including brass lever handles, barrel bolts and cabin hooks which are fitted as standard. The doors are hung on 100mm x 100mm projection butt hinges to maximise clear opening and they are also fitted with 5 lever mortise security locks. The windows will be fitted with spur handles and 12" window stays. Chrome and other finishes are also available as required.

Rainwater Goods:
Marshall Tufflex Squareline PVC guttering is fitted as standard; though other makes or moulded Aluminium guttering can also be supplied as required.

Guarantee:
Marchwood guarantee their workmanship and materials for completely new sections of work on an existing conservatory, for a period of five years. Marchwood also provides a Lloyds Insurance Backed Deposit Guarantee for new conservatories for a period of ten years covering both materials and workmanship.
